Have been to Nemecs on multiple occasions for both dine in and carry out. The pizza is good and tastes just like New York in Geneva! We like the vodka sauce, the white pie and the truffle mushroom. Just beware that it does taste better at the restaurant because it gets cold fast. The dine in device is nice and the pizza is relatively quick to make! Also, they do slices if you want to stop by for a quick bite!

A huge pizza upgrade for Geneva. I got to go as a first time. But saw how nice the dine in vibe was so I will have to be back. Pick up experience was efficient and the staff was courteous. I got the hot pepperoni pizza it was outstanding. Can't wait to try it again as a date night!

The Mike's Hot Pepperoni Pie was simply the best pizza I have had up to this point of my existence. Fuego. Forgot to take a picture, ate it too fast. Shoutout to our waiter Jack Johnson. He was helpful, joyful and successfully delivered the ZA like a straight legend. You gotta try Nemec's. Big thumbs up.

Add this place to your must-visit list! I heard so many good things about Nemec's since they opened in November and was excited to give it a try! From pictures online, it looked pretty small inside so I was worried we wouldn't get a table on a Friday night. Unfortunately, they don't take reservations but you can order online to-go. We came around 5pm and had to wait 30 minutes for a table to open up (there was a big group celebrating a birthday that took up 5-6 tables though). We tried the fibonacci pie and the traditional grandma pie which was the perfect amount for 3 hungry people. I'm typically more of a New York style person but I actually preferred the grandma pie. The crust was so fluffy and the ingredients tasted so fresh. Both were good though! It is a bit on the pricier side and the tables are very cramped but overall a great addition to downtown Geneva!

Best Slice of Your Life In Chicago. I was ecstatic when they opened a suburb location as I've tried the one in Chicago. They truly live up to the hype. Thin crust that holds up, no soggy crusts here. The dough is crisp then transforms into a cloudy chewy experience. They take their dough seriously and pride themselves in the process of making it which shines through when you take a bite. They have many options but our fave is hot honey pepperoni. Perfectly sweet n salty, a little spicy. The slices are thin but large so if you plan to try more than one flavor, come with a group and come hungry. They do however, offer slices before 4pm I believe. So if you really do want to sample many flavors, I recommend that. Their place is small but acommodates a decent amount of people. Their staff is always lovely. If you are not a fan of waiting, then of course avoid peak dinner hours on a weekend. Other than that, just get ready to have one of the best pizzas you've ever had.

It's in the same location as Osteria in Geneva. Small seating area for pizza place. They offer pizza by slice on the weekend between 12-4 pm. I went for this offering. But none of the pizza has a name in front of them, so we need to ask chefs about it. It was hard to hear them due to the kitchen sound. Once you make a decision, you need to place an order on the phone, and then the server will deliver it. Pizza sizes are big. The garlic twist was really good.. I also liked their white pizza, which is vegetarian. The mushroom truffle pizza was not that great.

My partner and I have travelled all across the Chicagoland area for pizza and this by far, is a top list choice. Nemec Brothers Pizzeria, sister restaurant to Zaza's Pizzeria in Chicago, is newer to downtown Geneva. While the Chicago location opened in 2022, this location just opened in the beginning of December of 2023 (this pizzeria is not to be confused with Geneva's La Zaza Trattoria restaurant). The smaller menu focuses on what they do best, new york style pizza. We tried the Signature Cheese Pie as well as the Garlic Twists to start. The prices are a bit high but you can ensure all ingredients are fresh. The Garlic Twists were perfectly doughy with garlic butter and parmesan on top. The two sauces were a fresh pesto and pureed tomato sauce. All pizzas only come in 16" sizes but they do offer slices for sale (while supplies last) till 4pm. Our pizza was cooked perfectly and we loved that the sauce was actually on top of the crust and cheese. This made it so the sauce was first to hit your palette. Also, all crusts are infused with rosemary garlic olive oil. Make a trip out to Geneva to try out Nemec Brothers; you won't be disappointed!
